Why there is no water in my tank?

Check all hoses and fittings for leaks around your tank. Take note as to whether or not the floor is wet. Water loss can also be attributed to evaporation. The rate of evaporation can change depending on the temperature of the surrounding room. If you find that evaporation is causing your tank to be empty get a tank lid.

The water in an aquarium has can evaporate due to water and household temperatures. It's best to fill the aquarium when it gets low to keep the filters working correctly.
