Why is there no power through the outlet with the wire has 120v?

Somewhere in the circuit the neutral wire is not connected to the neutral bar in the panel, including any connecting neutral wires sharing the same neutral wire.

There is two probable fault here one is you have lost the NEUTRAL thereby rendering the circuit incomplete, the other is the power outley or its inbuilt switch is faulty

The outlet is probably shorted out or the wires are shorting out against the metal box that the outlet sits in. Make sure there are no shorts.
