Why is my spa tripping the gfi breaker every time I use it?

I have an issue with my spa immediately tripping the gfi breaker.

GFI breakers trip when they detect a short or if there is a fault in the GFI breaker itself. A short can be caused by moisture from the spa. This is a safety issue, and needs attention from a qualified electrician.

Well if there is an issue with your spa it could be due to several causes. What I recommend is contacting the person who was responsible for the installation. Ask them for trouble shooting.

The purpose of a GFI breaker is to protect you from electrocution. Get your spa wiring checked to find the abnormal current flow.

If the breaker keep tripping then you either have a short somewhere our the spa is pulling too much power. Check your wiring and then make sure you have the appropriate sized breaker installed. The spa should have a sticker or paperwork indicating how much voltage and amps it draws.
