Many things could cause skin to be hot or have a tingling experience. Depending upon the particular area that you're are experiencing hotness and tingling will determine what influences to take into consideration. For example if your feet are hot and tingling you may be walking on hot coals which in this case would make that feeling perfectly logical.

If you are a woman over 50, your skin could be hot and tingling from a hot flash. A hot flash is like a fire within and starts at your feet and travels up to your head and you can't stop it. It usually lasts anywhere from 1 minute to 3 minutes.

Your skin can get a "tingly" or hot sensation if their is nerve damage. Allergic reactions can also cause this feeling though it is usualy followed with a rash of some sort. Soaps and lotions cause this reaction and it is best to switch to non scented and colored bathroom goods.
