Well this is because there may be a leakage in your system. You will have to send your hvac unit back to the factory for repair.

The suction line temperature is below outdoor dew point. Most manufacturers do not insulate the suction line once it enters the condensing unit. Water condenses on the line and the top of the compressor and is usually evaporated by the condensor air flow, but not always. If the unit is undercharged, ice could form and cause excess water.

Once a condesor starts to "sweat" is only a short time before it fails. Excess heat buildup makes the unit drip water. The next sign of a failing unit is a loud grinding sound.

It is normal for some condenser to accumulate water. Water vapor condenses on the surface or the cold condenser and will drip down.

The HVAC condenser may be dripping because it is leaking condensation from it. You should have it checked by a certified HVAC professional. while they are out, you should have them perform a whole system check to weed out any potential future problems. They can give you a quote to replace the condenser if neccessary.
