Your dog could of become injured somehow and can not move properly. Many high energy dogs do before they think and can pull a muscle or injure their body in numerous ways. If you are concerned at all I would contact a vet.

It could be a number of things. Either your dog is old and having joint pain and discomfort, or your dog could have lyme disease. Take it to the vet.

There are lots of reasons for this and you should take your dog to your vet immediately. My dog suddenly came up with lameness that shifted between his legs. After a series of tests he was diagnosed with lupus, but is being treated and doing well.

A sudden lameness of a dog is a very bad sign. In an older dog the most likely answer is a stroke. An occlusion or an anyurism of a blood vessel in the brain. It is usually not treatable.
