Why is my canine limping with no signs of injury?

There might be a sore on the pad, or something under the fur. Also, dogs are digitigrades; what seems to be a backward facing knee is actually an ankle. She might have a sprained ankle, a pulled muscle, a broken bone, or any number of internal injuries. It would be wise to take her to the vet.

It could be many things she may have gotten hit in the leg with something but isn't showing outward signs of injury but the injury is still there it may have caused some bone bruising that isn't showing on the outside. She may have a thorn in her foot. Or she may be looking for a bit of extra attention.

Even though there isn't any sign of injury from the outside the inside may very well be damaged. The ligaments in the dog's leg is probably damaged. The ligament of the dog's leg is very much like a human being's knee cap. Usage of the ligament probably caused some wear and tear. Check with a vet.

She could have just pulled a muscle. Just like humans they have muscles and when they pull it, it will hurt just the same. Make sure there are no breaks.

This happened to my canine. I found out that my dog has popped a hamstring. it can happen to dogs too. My vet said that there wasn't much to do.
