The two most likely causes are lack of coolant in the line. A service technician can replace the coolant and check the lines for leaks and tighten loose connections. Before paying for that, look inside the furnace box where the evaporator coils are, and vacuum/blow the coils to remove the built up dust. That will probably fix the problem.

There is probably something technical that is wrong with it. Maybe its been used over its limit. Maybe the cooling fan is having some kind of defect. So check it with a technician.

This could be caused by any number of reasons. First of all check the filters in the vents. Secondly you could have cold air escaping through a small leak spot in your home. Some caulking around the windows might help. You could check the filter in the return air vent. Or maybe your a/c is just old and needs replaced.

As it gets warmer it may seem like it runs longer. That is the time when it should be serviced.Change the filter, check the freon. It's also a good time to check the seals around the doors and windows of the house.

As the external temperature increases your air conditioner has to work harder and more often to keep your house cool. You can help reduce this problem by insuring your house is properly insulated and that you are not losing cool air through cracks and holes, mostly around windows and doors.

Make sure your air conditioner has been cleaned recently. Blow out the filters and condenser coils. If it still doesn't work as well, be sure to have it serviced and the refrigerant topped up.

It could be the unit is getting older. Also, your may need to re-insulate your house. If the insulation has gaps, the heat will get in.

It is possible that the condensing coils are clogged with dirt, dust or lint. They need to be cleaned according to the instructions in the manual.

Mainly because of dust particles residing in the filter of your air conditioner or due to not servicing or due to low quality of your product.

Sometimes when the days get warmer, your air conditioner is not used to keeping up with the strain and workload as it would during winter months when it is colder. You might just need to give it some time and it should work itself out.
