Why does my heart race after I eat to the point where I vomit?

This started during my pregnancy six years ago. I've been to the cardiologist who has no clue.

It is just the reaction of your body to this response, your heart beat races since your body needs more energy to expel the unwanted toxins or waste in your stomach therefore it needs more blood to do this resulting to faster palpitations. It is rather normal for this to happen so do not worry as long as it subsides.

The only explanation I can give is during stress time the adrenaline rushes causing your heart to beat faster. Reflux disease probably need to rule out in your case.
