Why does acne cause bumps?

Other infections don't.

Acne causes bumps due to the eruption under the surface of the skin. These eruptions are from internal and or external attributes. The interior of acne is usually clogged dirt or excessive oils.

Your pores get clogged with sebum and dead skin cells,then infected once trapped in pores they do tend to spread a round quickly.Usually they are filled with puss(whiteheads)and if a pore stays open you get blackheads.Clogged pores can produce cysts,and not just on your face.That's jut how your pores and body react on bacterial infections.

Acne is a skin disorder characterized by cysts, open and closed comedones. Acne usually appears during adolescence. During this period of active growth, sebaceous glands of skin go through an extended period of development. Some young people, these glands are blind, swell and become inflamed resulting big acnees.Keep your hands clean and nails shorter.
