The most likely reason is that you cracked a rib. It isn't that hard to do and usually takes care of itself, but can be painful. Just be careful.

There can be many reasons for this. A common reason you may be having pain is a recent cracked or bruised rib. If it continues to hurt see a doctor.

A minute crack may cause pain. Do you have gastric problem? If this is a recent trouble a cyst formation may be detected. Too much fat food cause problem.
