Why do we have to pay federal tax?

The Constitution gives Congress power to provide for the general welfare. The Supreme Court has ruled this to mean collect and spend taxes in support of the general welfare.

Regarldess or not if it is in our Constitution, I do believe it is our civic duty to pay taxes. Our goverment helps run this country, without us paying taxes we wouldn't be the best country. This country is a great one to live in, we need to pay our taxes to keep it running by paying taxes.
