Pennyroyal oil is used for flea control in pets, likely using a diluted amount because the oil is known to be harmful to both humans and pets if ingested even in small doses (dogs with external parasites such as fleas will use their teeth and nails to relieve the issues, and cats lick themselves to keep their fur clean).

Pennyroyal is sometimes used as a flea prevention product. The problem is it is advertised as all natural and people think that means it is safe. It is actually quite a toxic product and people originally stopped using it when safer flea products were developed. This poison can cause organ failure if overdosed and is toxic to people too.

Pennyroyal oil smells similar to spearmint and is extracted from the herb. Some people use it as a flea treatment for pets but because of its high concentration, it is quite toxic and should not be used in this way. It is also toxic to humans. Pregnant women in particular should avoid it.

Pennyroyal oil is an ingredient in some homemade flea and tick remedies. The problem is that it is extremely toxic and can be fatal if it is ingested accidentally.

Pennyroyal oil is used as a natural flea massage oil to treat flea problems. The oil is toxic if it gets into the pets mouth. When massaging the oil into your pet be very careful around its mouth, eyes, and nose.

I use it to keep my dogs fur healthy. They have beautiful coats and i use it on my dog to keep it that way. I got a lot of compliments because it makes her shiny.

This is sold as an 'all natural' flea killing product. The problem is all natural does not mean safe and it's quite a toxic choice compared to more modernd products.

Pennyroyal is toxic. People use it as an additive to kill/prevent fleas in pets, although I am not sure how safe this is.

There is a myth that pennyroll oil is good for preventing ticks on pets but this is false and is actually highly toxic and can induce siezures amd caise comatose fits, and more often than not proves to be fatal. Stay away from any type of motor oil because the chemicals are poison.

Pennyroyal oil is used as a flea repellant. There are many ways to use it, in various configurations and doseages. My first best advice is to obtain it from a good health food store and ask for their advice. Secondly, look it up online, do your research.

I have found that Pennyroyal Oil is a GREAT Flea repellent. The fleas can't stand the stuff and just jump off of the dog or cat.
