Why do I have lines running across my Toshiba LCD TV?

I've only had it a few months. This just started last night.

I think that someone who has been around your tv might have exposed it to magnet, this has happened in my house before because a girl sitting in front of it had magnetic clasp on her necklace.

If any electronic device like a mobile phone comes closer to tv, there is a chance for occurrence of electromagnetic interference which can cause the development of lines across the TV.

The only logical solution for the problems people are having for the toshiba regza's tv's is to get into a class action law suite..., they contiue to sell tv's with defective parts and refuse to help the customer that spent large cash to find out they last if your lucky 2.5 years, they are junk.

There could be various things wrong with this. One you may need to clean the television. Second you may have a loose connection so check your wires.
