It could have somethng to do with what you ate. Or, what you did after you ate. Check out those possibilities.

This happens for many reasons. Certain prescription drugs cause this side effect - talk with your doctor if you're on any. Also, food allergies can manifest themselves through fatigue. See if the same foods cause you to feel this way. Also, big meals cause circulatory changes to aid digestion. If you eat a lot each meal, that would explain it.

It could be the type of foods you are eating. It could also be the amount you are eating at one time, but you should talk to your doctor about it.

Well you may be low of iron. This is common but it could also be that you do not have such a great digestion system. You may need some digestion pills. Your digestion is extremely slow and as a result takes a lot of energy causing you to become very tired.

Because your body is taking all of its energy and using it to digest the food you have just eaten. When this occurs, your energy level drains because of the body's response.

This may be a sign that you're eating things that digest a little too quickly. Try eating less sugar and more fiber and protein.

My mother had the same thing. She went to the doctor and found that she had a small heart problem, where the blood had to work to hard to digest the food. She rests after she eats. Does not do dishes just sits.

well, if you had just ran a 26 mile marathon and then ate, and felt tired, I would say it was probably the 26 mile marathon.
