Feeling "fat" is commonly attributed to mentality and confidence. If you have low self-esteem, especially in regards to your weight, you are more likely to feel your weight is a significant problem.

Feeling fat is a self esteem issue. I myself feel fat at times despite many people complimenting my figure. "Fat" is relative depending on who is skinny to you. Many of us are fat compared to underwear models. But many of us are skinny compared to heavily obese people.

You probably feel fat because your body is retaining water weight. In a few days your body will shed the water and you'll feel better.

You are fat thats why you are feeling fat. Check your weight once in every five days. Then you will know whether you are gaining weight or not. But use the standard weighing machine.

Many of us 'feel' fat because of what we see in the media in everyday life. Most of the models and actresses we see are incredibly skinny - unhealthily skinny, which makes perfectly attractive and healthy women feel fatter then they should. Very unfortunate side affect of typical media.
