Some people either have a religious reason why they do not want vaccinations. Other people believe that vaccinations cause more harm than good, due to the side effects. Vaccinations, however, typically are safe and effective.

It is thought by some parents that vaccinations which babies and young children receive are the cause for the rise in austism. There is no science to support this belief, but due to the number of children diagnosed in recent years with autism, some believe vaccinations to be the reason.

Some dispute the morality, ethics, effectiveness and safety of vaccines. Others blame the vaccine industry of financial motive. Compulsory vaccines are felt to infringe on one's freedom. Also, religious reasons.
