People always have to find something to argue about. No one is ever completely satisified with anything anywhere, that is why people are against gay marriage and civil rights.

Most people who oppose gay marriage do so for religious reasons. According to their beliefs, marriage can only exist between a man and a woman. Furthermore, they often feel that all homosexual activity is immoral.

I'm sure it's a personal reason for everyone. They may not necessarily be against gay legal unions, but against the act of marriage in a church. To each their own.

People are against changing the nature of marriage and the true definition of marriage based on what our forefathers believed and wanted. It has nothing to do with civil rights.

Many people oppose gay marriage because they believe homosexuality is a sin and the holy sacrament of marriage is reserved for the union of one man/one woman.
