Why am I getting a runtime error on Windows?

This error message appears when your computer is running a software application that experiences an issue or has problems. It can mean that the prgram has a bug, that there are registry problems on your computer, that your computer has encountered hardware failure or that the computer is experiencing resource exhaustion.

This mainly due to unexpected process or process that cannot be handled by the windows. A reference to memory which is not allocated or a bad sector can cause it.
