Unsinkable Molly Brown was a passenger on the ill-fated Titantic. She got her nickname because she was able to survive the sinking. In the movie Titantic, starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, Kathy Bates portrayed Unsinkable Molly Brown.

"The Unsinkable Molly Brown" was a nickname given to a first class passenger of the ill fated RMS Titanic, which sunk in 1912, who's real name was Margaret Brown. She was an American socialite and activist. After the Titanic sunk, she convinced lifeboat 6 to return to look for survivors.
