A young girl who was killed while hitchhiking in the early 1930's. She spent the evening dancing with boyfriend at a Ballroom. They argued and Mary stormed ran out. On the way home she was struck by an automobile. The driver took off, Mary was left to die. She was buried in Resurrection Cemetery. Her spirit lives on.

Resurrection Mary is a ghost story more than anything. It is about a girl from Chicago who went to a dance, ditched her boorish boyfriend and tried to hitchhike home. She was struck by a passing car on Archer Avenue and apparently haunts the street. This event happened in the 1930s, but the story has persisted until today.
