From past experience it is best to stick with the name brand dual pot coffee makers since the pots all tend to wear down. Having a more common brand will allow you to find replacements easier. Check out the dual pot from Krups and BUnn.

I think that Krups makes one of the most reliable dual pot coffee makers. They last forever, are extremely reliable and easy to use.
