Jamarcus Russell was drafted by the Oakland Raiders and he was released in 2010 following another bad season in Oakland.

In 2007, the Houston Texans surprised everybody, by selected defensive end Mario Williams out of North Carolina State. The second player chosen that year was running back Reggie Bush (who went to the New Orleans Saints) out of USC, who most people predicted would go #1 to the Houston Texans.
