Who created the Fables comic book series?

Fables, published by DC Comic's Vertigo, was created by Bill Willingham in 2002. In 2008 ABC announced they had picked up the rights to develop a "Fables" pilot for the 2009-2010 television season. This hour long tv series would be directed by David Semel. We have yet to see this show come to fruition.

DC Comics's Vertigo imprint publishes Fables. The creator and guiding light of the series is Bill Willingham, a man with a long history of work in comic book field.

I'm pretty sure his name is Bill Willingham, I enjoyed those, I have three son's and they wanted a few one day at game stop. I got sucked into it.
