The Royal Scots were an infantry regiment. Known as the oldest infantry regiment in the British army. They were on foot and helped fight during skirmishes and wars with other armies and countries. They've been part of the British Army since the 17th century. In 2006 they became known as the Royal Scots Borderers.

The Royal Scots was a regiment in the British army. The Royal Scots, formed in 1633, had been the oldest infantry regiment in the British Army. The Regiment was in service until 2006 when it became part of the newly formed Royal Regiment of Scotland.

The Royal Scots were formed in 1633 as a regiment in the British Army, originally to fight in France.It's nicnmae was Pontius Pilate's Bodguard.Their battle honours include fighting in the major World Wars but were disbanded in 2006 and became part of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
