Who are the different CPU manufacturers?

There are really only 2 major manufacturers of CPUs, one is Intel and the other is AMD. Some others include: * Alesis * Chief Manufacturing * Cisco * Dell * HP * IBM * Sonnet Technologies * Sun Microsystems * Toshiba

Both Intel and AMD are CPU manufacturers who make products for the home PC market. Besides them, there are also many other specialized CPU manufacturers, such as Nvidia who makes CPU/GPU hybrids for portable devices, and IBM who supplies the different processor's for the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360.
