Which is better: Transderm or Dramamine?

If you haven't used one of these, they may make you sleepy. If you know you will have motion sickness see a doctor and ask for a non-drowsy anti-emetic.

It could depend on the time of day that you will be using the medication. It might be best to use the Transderm patch in the day as it is not usually associated with sleepiness. But while sailing at night, Dramamine might be better because it causes drowsiness.

Dramamine can make some people really drowsy, which is not usually the best way to enjoy a cruise. You also have to remember to take a couple pills a day with dramamine. With transderm you can just stick it on and forget about it.
