Which DVD decoder works with Windows 2000?

I know--I should upgrade my Windows, but it's expensive.

The best one I know of is called PowerDVD from Cyberlink. It will cost you about $50.00 but it will allow you to rip, burn and play DVD (sorry no blu-ray) with ease. You will need to install it and run it as Admin. Otherwise, you will get an error of "no disc in drive".

Firs yiu need to install k-lite codecs. After you haved installed that you need to download and install a free media player. The most suitable for your pourpose and operating system is VLC Media Player.
