It's ironic that Memphis, Tennessee--home to Graceland and thousands of Elvis Presley devotees every year--isn't actually the place where Elvis was born. The city that can make that claim to fame is Tupelo, Mississippi--which continues to hold its annual Elvis Presley Festival every June.

Elvis Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8, 1935. He had an identical twin brother who was stillborn.
