Where might I find apple ornaments when it's not Christmas time?

I need them for a Teacher Appreciation project.

Craft stores like Michaels carry them I think, usually near their floral department. Other craft stores that have fake flowers might also have a selection of fake fruit including apples.

Your best bet for finding apple ornaments out of season is online. Some online retailers such as Oriental Trading offer a wide selection of apple/teacher items throughout the year, even out of season. There are also other specialty stores online specializing in ornaments that would be a good place to check. You can locate these retailers through a search engine.

Try second-hand stores in the area, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, or other craft stores. You should also try office and school supply stores in the area, which might have apples that you could use that aren't ornaments, but would work anyway. Finally, if you can't find exactly what you're looking for, try looking for plastic apples and adding your own string.

You can try looking in craft stores for them. A lot of times they have kits to make just about anything you want year round, and at a reasonable price. If that doesn't work for your area, then do a quick internet search to see if anyone has them available.
