You really need to take your car to a qualified mechanic for something like this. Your ecu is basically the brain, or computer the runs your car. You can cause some serious problems with this if you don't know what you're doing.

It is located under the dashboard. You may need to undo the garnish under your steering. Remove the screw caps and remove the cover. You will see wiring harness running towards your engine bay. It is a bit messy around but you will be able to locate the immobilizer easily. One needs to be very cautious with this stuff.
