Where is the fuse for the door locks on a Mercury Mountaineer?

Answer by  Amber40 (24961)

It should be located in the fuse panel on the dash on the drivers side below the instrument panel. It will be a 20amp fuse in the second row from the left and two fuses up from the bottom.

Locate your cars local fuse box. It should be either under your dash, or in some cases with older cars it's even possible it's located under the hood near the battery. All the fuses in your car will be labeled. Either fully or with Abbreviations. Look for one labeled DOOR LOCKS or DL.

The fuse box for the mercury mountaineer is located on the far left side of the dash. Open the driver's side door to access the panel which simply pops off.

my experience of electronic locks on a mountaineer is that they burn out quickly you might as well just get used to doing it manually.
