It really determines on the year and model of your Nissan Altima. I would suggest purchasing an automotive manual at any auto store. The manual will tell you the location on your model specifically.

It will be in the fuse box and it will be marked as the relay for the fan. It may be in fuse box under the hood or under the dash. Check both of them and make sure they are good.

You can find it either in the owners manual or call a dealership they will be able to tell you right away.

All relays are usually found in the fuse box, which is found either under the hood under the driver's side, or somewhere in the cab under the steering wheel. The lid usually has a diagram of which fuse and relay is which. It'll be a black cube with 5 little prongs on the bottom.

The relay is going to be in the fuse box. Check the one under the dash and then if it is not in there check the one under the hood.

Older model Altimas has their cooling fan relay near the battery in a smaller fuse box. It should be clearly labeled.

This type of fan should normally be located somewhere within your engine area or possibly somewhere in the clutch area.
