Perms are still popular. A lot more people get more relaxed perms now than before. It is possible to do it at home, you will need someone's help to put the rollers in though. And I guess men can get perms and I believe there are still some that do but not very many.

Yes men do get perms but being that their hair is shorter they have to have reperm often. on men small curls but on females big curls are better. If you have short hair you can perm your own hair but stay away from sally's, that will kill your hair. You probably should go professional.

For the best advice on hair perms, go to a salon and ask because perms are done the best with an expert in the salon. Anyone can get one.
