Where can I find a collection of short story summaries?

Short story summaries can be found in book stores, called cliff notes and they can be found on line with a little research. Also, helpful is reading the back of the book and some of the notes by the author. Cliff notes give you the theme, charactors, setting, turning point of the story.

Although books are offered online, they can be expensive. I suggest you go to a good library and look up Masterplots II edited by Charles E. May. It covers a broad spectrum of authors and includes plot summaries and analyses. This book is usually found in the 800 reference sections.

The best place to find summaries of short (or long) stories would be going picking up a book called sparknotes. They summarize short stories in a nice format. Picking up a copy of cliffnotes is also helpful
