Exotic markets can order this sort of meat for you and the best is supposed to be python. Tastes like chicken -- really. Stringy, gamey chicken.

There are still butcher shops, both online and in ethnic communities, that specialize in exotic meats. You would have to find one of them and ask around about their reputation. The same goes for the best kind of snake, it's not common knowledge to the average person.

Try local chinese grocery stores. Also they will have cooking tips. Rattle snake is one of the best tasting snakes in North America.
