Most chain hotels are placed in "family friendly"zones that are safe for your kids. Great Wolf lodge in Dallas is a great place for children. The grand canyon is always a classic,and Las Vegas is now more kid friendly. If you are going out of the country you may try using an "all inclusive" hotel that isn't for couples only.

A great place to go for a family vacation with children is an all inclusive that has a children's camp so the adults can relax as well.
