Any woman can potentially be visablly pregnant when they are three or four months pregnant. This really depends on the size of the baby or babies. In the case of twins, women typically tend to show early on in their pregnancy, because they are obviously carrying two babies instead of one.

Carrying twins is having heredity as a mean to the pregnancy. The development of the twins itself can be examined/observed through an ultrasound scanning after three months.
