Elvis Presley's career began in 1954 in Memphis Tennessee, with Sun Records. His first RCA single, "Heartbreak Hotel', and his first movie, "Love Me Tender", were both released in 1956.

Presley's career started in 1954, when he walked into Sun Studios in Memphis to record some songs. Sam Phillips, Sun owner, recognized his talent and signed him to a contract.
