What's the next step if I want to lose weight?

I need to lose about 50 pounds.

You should start a food journal and be honest. Start out walking and gradually build up your distance and pace, while cutting back on your sugar and food intake.

Start by eating less junk food and incorporating more fruits and vegetables into your diet. Make slow steps because you want to make a permanent change to avoid gaining the weight back. You can start by taking slow walks for 30 minutes at a time. You can increase the time as you get stronger.

Start with a plan. Come up with steps such as walking 30 minutes, or eating an apple every day. You should have non-food rewards for doing these steps.

If you are realyl serious, pcik a weight loss method (ie Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, the Zone, South Beach, Atkins, etc.). In addition to paying close attention to what you eat, schedule time to exercise for at least 1 hour/day.
