With corn and all other vegetables it is an accepted fact that frozen outranks canned in all ways. Taste wise, frozen foods taste fresher. They maintain there firmness, crispness, crunchiness better. And as far as health is concerned, frozen is definetly the way to go. Anything that comes in a can is filled with sodium.

Frozen. Veggie's are flash-frozen within hours of being picked, nothing is added. Assuming your freezer stays at zero degrees F, when defrosted, they will return to their pre-flash-frozen state, that is, as if they had just been picked. No loss of nutrients.

Both are good depending on what you are using it for. Healthwise there are reasons why you should not use aluminum (the can) and also reasons why you should not use the plastic (frozen) for storage of food.

Frozen corn is closer to fresh corn, but still it's nowhere near as good as fresh picked corn on the cob. Canned corn tastes better in my opinion because of the added salt, but it's probably not as healthful as fresh or frozen corn.

Canned and frozen corn both have their merits. Canned lasts for years at room temperature, and frozen can be kept for months. However, frozen corn has better flavor and texture.

With modern canning and freezing both forms of corn retain their nutritional value, taste and textures, however, canned corn often contains more sodium as a result of the canning process.

Fresh is best, but if I really had to choose er frozen (after cooking of course, not actually still frozen that would be not very nice)
