Money is always a welcomed gift for this occassion. Many children enjoy getting gift cards. Some say any gift appropriate for the age group is fine and you can always ask a parent for an idea of what to give. Nice picture frames, watches or jewelery is also alright to give.

In the NorthEast region of the United States, most attendees to the party give money. The parties are usually rather lavish, and so money is the gift of choice.
