The anchor used for years by sailors and often complimented by a mermaid. With the caution don't put a name near. Get a gold hoop and look like a pirate.

Traditional nautical tattoos include ships, nautical stars, anchors, 1940s pinup girls, "Hold Fast" tattoos, and a pig and/or rooster on the feet. Sailor Jerry flash is the best example.

Piercings I think would depend on the item you put in the piercing, but the most popular nautical tattoo is an anchor, closely followed by a mermaid.

There are many, including nautical stars, anchors, ships, swallows and propellers, among others. Most of these are done in a traditional "American" style and are classic and beautiful.

Anchors, mermaids, fish, dolphins pin ups and sharks are common among nautical tattoos. As far as piercings there really inst much, although you could say most sailors or pirates would typically have 1 ear pierced.
