There is no easy way to accomplish this without being either a trained or skill botanist. There are so many different varieties of this plant type there is no Generic-Way.

There are many different kinds of miniature roses. The modern miniature ones basically come from three kinds-Tom Thumb, Oakington Ruby,R. Rouetii. Some of the miniatures include Tiny Flame, Apricot Twist, Just For You, Iced Tea, Fairy Moss, Little Chief, Little Pinky, Mood Music.

Miniature rose bushes usually produce miniature roses. The smallest of these are called micro-mini roses. Avoid tea roses; these are the large or standard size roses. Read the label; this will give information about the size of the blossom.

Any form of miniature rose bush will produce a small rose for you also a bush that has tea roses will have tiny blooms.

Tiny roses from bushes will either be sweetheart roses or miniature roses those are the only two rose bushes that will produce small or tiny roses. The best way for you to be sure of what you are doing is go to your local greenhouse and tell them what you want they will be able to help you right away.

The Alexander MacKenzie rose bush produces 3-7 inch blooms, The Bonica and the Carefree Delight rose bush are two more that produce 4-7" blooms. The Double Knockout is still small but produces a 5-9" bloom.

They are called tea rose bushes. They produce tiny fragrant roses and can be climbers. They are wonderful hearty bushes.
