The delivery can be very painful but if you want you can get an epidural which will make the pain less. The epidural is not very risky and most women get it to help ease the pain. It doesn't mean that it will be pain free but it will help.

You have to decide whether or not you want pain medication. I know people who do not, but I wanted it! Once I had the epidural, pushing was painless. Surprisingly, you and the baby will just know what to do.

Before you go in you should decide whether you want painkillers during labor. You might also want to decide whether you want a vaginal labor or an elective Cesarian.

Every delivery is different, it is most important to have the support of your loved ones and a plan for how you will deal with the pain associated with labor. If you are nervous definitely have your baby in a hospital with lots of well trained staff.

Child delivery is an exciting time in the pregnancy process. It can also be a lengthy one. Most often before you will be admitted into the hospital the nurse will check for dilation. Dilation can take several hours to days, so be patient, it ends with a beautiful baby.

The best tips on dealing with the delivery of any baby is to stay active right up until the last moment, keep walking around, this will keep your contractions going, keep pain relief to a minimum so the baby doesn't get sleepy.

It will be an extremely emotional time and everyone deals with it differently. You will feel scared, excited, and happy at the same time. Make sure you have emotional support with you. it is beautiful.

Honestly you should be prepared for just about anything to happen. I went in to be induced at 36 weeks with my daughter and ended up having to get a C-section. The number one thing that is always the same is pain. You are going to be in a lot of pain, but it will be well worth it.
