Choose a wildflower blend well suited for your local growing area, like natives. Most wildflower blends grow best in full sun; shade loving blends are native to forest areas.

You should consult your local gardener's group or county agricultural extension to see what wildflowers grow well naturally in your region.

Walk around the woods in the area in which you live to identify naturally occurring wildflowers. This will help you best ascertain which types of wildflowers are in your area and how to plant them.

It's best to pick the plants that work best for your area. Ones that naturally grow in your area will be the best. Pick ones that cater to your needs.
