What size room would be 40 square yards?

I need a 40 square yard room.

Since the size you specify relates to floor are (presumably) the actual dimensions of the room can vary. Essentially a x b = 40 square yards where 'a' and 'b' can be any two dimensions, in yards, that give the answer 40 when multiplied together, i. e. 5 x 4.

One yard equals three feet. For your room at 40 yards squared, you would multiply it by 3 squared, which equals 360sq ft.
