Make sure the base coat is completely dried first as the glaze could cause the stripes to run together. An easy way to avoid this is to bake the project for about 10-15 minutes at 275 degrees before putting the glaze over it.

Glazing is relatively easy, just buy the glaze and then either add your paint to the glaze giving the paint the glazed effect, or paint the glaze over the paint for a cloudy effect. Painting stripes requires a good tape, as well as straight taped lines. Get tape with a paint blocker on it for straight lines.
