divorce

Question by  mickdowen (67)

What should I expect from going in front of a tribunal forum to have my marriage dissolved?

I am Catholic and will need to present my case to a tribunal forum in order to get divorced, I am worried that they will deny me the right to divorce.

You are not applying for a divorce you are asking the church for an anullment. This is possible even if you have had children and the Catholic church wants to keep people now. You cannot be denied the right to divorce as this is a cival action. But if you want to marry in the church you must do this.

The bible says that if you are looking to dissolve your marriage because your partner committed adultery, then your soul would be spared. Therefore, if your partner committed adultery, then the tribunal should have no problem. On the other hand, Catholics do not believe in divorce, so you would need to have a good reason.

Why not? You have the right to get divorce in a tribunal forum also. So,you can apply. They won't deny you. Because, problems in life won't come after asking that we are catholic or other.
