What should I do while visiting Miami?

Go out to the beach. Have lunch at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach. Spend an evening people watching in South Beach. Eat as much Cuban food as possible. Stay in the populated, well-lit tourist areas unless you are accompanied by someone who knows his way around the city.

If you are traveling with children, the Miami Seaquarium is something sure to please the whole family. Another great idea is to take an airboat ride through the Everglades. Aside from that, the beaches are beautiful and the shopping is great. If you are looking for nightlife, check out South Beach and Coconut Grove.

The main thing you should do in Miami is the obvious one: visit South Beach. If you are not into the sand, there are plenty of great restaurants with a Cuban style atmosphere. These restaurants can be quite pricey but offer fantastic lunch specials. At night, there is great shopping from many local boutiques as well as night clubs.

South Beach is a must. Also, check out Coconut Grove. If you are a nature lover you need to take a trip to Everglades National Park. Take a boat tour of Star Island, and Biscayne Bay. Go to Metrozoo. Viscaya is beautiful and worth a trip.
